It wouldn’t be fair to ask to tell your incredible story without telling you a little bit about mine first right? So here we go, sit back, grab your popcorn and lean in close!

My name is Brent Hagy. I grew up in a small town in Michigan where I enjoyed playing soccer and rocking out on drums in the school drumline (#bandgeek). My parents and two younger brothers always enjoyed going on vacations anywhere and everywhere we had a chance to explore (and get out of school, of course).

In my sophomore year of high school I was sitting in my Spanish class listening to my teacher, Señora Yue talk about an upcoming assignment where we had to make a video demonstrating what we had been learning throughout the year. I went home and grabbed a Sony Handycam camcorder and started planning out my first video and…well, here we are now! I fell in love with everything about it, the planning, storyboarding, seeing what cool shots or unique perspectives me and my friends could do to make our story more impactful. And I’m still learning and growing to this day!

On the inside, I’m still that super excited and passionate sophomore researching everything he could to figure out how to tell these visual stories in a new way. The only difference is I now have the privilege to hear what you are excited about and help package that vision in a way that can be shared for decades to come!
